Sabina Newton spent an idyllic childhood in the great Tasmanian outdoors, fishing and cooking with her family.

The middle of three daughters, Sabina fondly recalls her time with sisters Lydia and Poppy at their family shack at Coles Bay on the East Coast. It was there that she mastered scuba diving and would reel in flathead with her grandfather.

Sabina is passionate about sea-to-table dining. She loves cooking local seafood through modern Australian, French, Italian, Mexican and Thai cuisines. Recently, Sabina made a splash on MasterChef Australia, and looks forward to owning her own food business in Hobart.
